General admission tickets are now on sale from just £15, with all of our talks, workshops and practical classes being included within this ticket price.

You will also receive a festival tote bag & show guide, all part of your entrance ticket.

What is included in a general admission ticket?

A general admission ticket will give you entrance to the main event for that particular day, free admission to all classes, workshops and talks plus a visitors guide.

A ticket will be emailed to you via Eventbrite at the time of purchase.  Please see the Workshops & Talks section on this website for our schedule and further information.

Where is the event being held?

The full venue address is Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone ME14 3JF.  The event is being held in the Clive Emson building  & surrounding grounds.

What time is the event open?

The event will be open to the public from 10am until 5pm on the Saturday and from 10am until 4pm on the Sunday

Where can I buy tickets?

The best place to buy tickets is via this website.  You can also purchase tickets via Eventbrite.  Tickets may be available on the door on the day, although this is subject to availability.

Can I buy tickets for my friends?

Yes of course!

Can I swap my ticket for another day?

No, we cannot refund or transfer tickets after they have been purchased.

I can no longer attend the event. Can I get a refund?

No, we cannot refund or transfer tickets after they have been purchased.  All sales are final.

Will there be a timetable to enable us to plan our day?

Yes, all of our confirmed talks, class & workshops can be viewed via the ‘Practical Classes’ & ‘Talks & Workshops’ pages on this website.  There is also a downloadable timetable on these pages & there will also be full details of all of our classes, workshops and talk in our Visitors Guide, which will be given to all ticket holders at the entrance of the event.

Please ensure you check our social media & timetable at the entrance at the event on the day should there be any last minute changes

Is the event inside or outside?

Both.  The event will be held both inside within the Clive Emson building, plus there will be outside tents & activities.  All outside classes & activities will be covered in case of bad weather.

Is there overnight accomdation?

No, I’m afraid there is no onsite accommodation or camping available.

There are however various B&Bs and hotels in the nearby towns & surrounding areas – details of which can be found on the Kent Showground website

I would like to exhibit or do a workshop. How do I apply?

Please note this must be pre-arranged prior to the event to enable you to gain access on the day.

Can I bring food and drink into the festival?

No, you cannot bring your own food or drink into the premises but there will be places to buy food in the festival, with food stands catering for a wide range of tastes & dietary requirements.

Bottled water, fresh juices, non -alcoholic soft drinks & hot beverages will also be available to purchase at a very reasonable price.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the whole of the festival area is suitable for wheelchairs.  We also have disabled parking available near the entrance of the event.

Can I take photographs and film the event?

Yes, but please be respectful to other attendees who may not wish to be filmed or photographed.  Also, certain speaking areas at the event may have recording restrictions for copyright purposes.  These will be sign posted.

What is the best way to get to the venue?

The best way to get to the venue is by car.  There is plenty of free parking onsite.  If you would prefer to travel to the venue via public transport, please refer to the venue website www.kenteventcentre.co.uk/visiting for further information.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is free parking at the venue.  There is also disabled parking available by the front entrance.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your ticket (either printed or visible on your phone)  to the front entrance when you arrive.  If you are attending a practical class, please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.  If you are attending a yoga or meditation class, please bring a yoga mat with you.  If you need to being anything else for specific classes this will be detailed on each class/workshop further information sections.

Do you have showers and changing facilities?

No we do not provide changing facilities or showers onsite.

Can I bring my dog?

We love dogs here!  However,  due to issues in previous years we can no longer allow dogs into the event, unless they are ESA or Guide dogs.
